Marjorie Jean Clamme’ passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the age of 91. The daughter of Clarence A. Futrell and Bessie B. Futrell, she was born in Hartford City, Indiana on February 23, 1922. She married Roy Clamme’ on April 3, 1942. The couple moved with their five children to Florida in 1957. Marjorie is survived by daughter Cynthia Yaboni (husband Jim) of Deerfield Beach, Florida; daughter Debra James of Stuart, Florida; son Randall Clamme’ of Wellington, Florida; daughter Melody VanOverloop (husband Mack) of Wellington, Florida; and a sister Virginia Bantz (husband Carl) of Coconut Creek, Florida. Marjorie was blessed with nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Kenneth Clamme’, her son Gordon R. Clamme’, and her sister, Marilynn Bantz.
The funeral will be take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Pompano Beach on Friday, June 14th. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to: St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1925 Birkdale Drive, Wellington, Florida 33414; the Cancer Society; or to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
