John Loren Heuss of Fort Lauderdale passed away at the age of 45. He was born August 2nd 1978 and moved to London, England before he was a month old. He lived there with his family for 10 years, attending Thomas's London Day schools before returning to the US and Florida where he finished his schooling at Pine Crest School. He then attended Boston University where he was a member of the Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity. After college, he briefly worked as a broker before embarking on his woodworking career. He moved to Denver Colorado and operated his Paradigm Woodworking company, before returning to Florida in 2021.
John was predeceased by his mother Patricia Hale and is survived by his father John F Heuss and stepmother Olga Girod, and sister Sarah Heuss (Ugena Whitlock).
He was known for his artistic talents; his pencil sketches were extraordinary and he had a keen eye for design. He will be remembered for his talents, his love of cats, and his generosity of spirit.
A celebration of life is being planned for August 3, 2024 at 10am followed by service at 11am in Fort Lauderdale at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, and memorial donations can be made to The American Heart Association https://www.heart.org/ or the ASPCA https://www.aspca.org/
