I worked with Joanne for many years and when I retired we were still friends.  She was my glue.  We laughed a lot an looked forward to our yearly security meetings in Bethesda.  I remember the year that everything got snowed in and we were confined to the hotel.  We went out side with Cheri and made snow angels Cheri just photographed it for us.

I know she loved Ed and their boy’s dearly it was all she talked about.  And looking forward to grand babies.   

She will truly  be missed but not forgotten.

She was the most personable, wonderful and efficient person ever.
Will always remember her happy voice, never a  complaint, always a person that could brightened your day.

Words cannot express the abject shock and sadness I am feeling over the loss of Joanne. She was my oldest and dearest friend of 46 years, dating all the way back to 4th grade when we met at Saint Jerome’s. We became fast friends through thick and thin and remained so even after I moved to New York in 1980, whence we exchanged Christmas presents every year since until her passing. That was just Joanne! Always giving, always loving, always joyful, always funny, always willing to lend a hand or an ear or help in any way. She was an angel on Earth and will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to her husband Ed, her sons, Eddie & Jeffrey, her Mother, Brothers and all of her extended family and friends! Joanne was one-of-a-kind and will be forever loved and missed! Rest In Peace my soul sister!

Joanne you were one of my very first friends when I started high school at STA.  We had classes together and we always had so much fun throughout all 4 years.  I remember hanging out at your house all the time and just laughing with your great sense of humor.  I remember when you met Ed and I knew you would eventually marry him.  I was so honored to be in your wedding and share that part of your life with you!! Then came Eddie and Jeffrey and you were so happy and proud of your boys!!   We shared the love of coffee, wine , Ghost Hunters and Kindred Spirits.  I will hold on to that book you sent me forever!! You are so missed and I am so glad for memories.  I love you girl today and always!!

There are no words to express our deep heartbreak over the sudden and untimely passing of Joanne! Although she was never directly involved with our tournaments, she graciously allowed her husband Ed and son Jeffrey to devote countless hours to Bluewater Movements’ events! These photos were taken at our last holiday gathering and Joanne’s beautiful smile permeated each one! There are no words that can ease the deep pain of Joanne’s passing, but we must believe that she is no longer in pain and resting peacefully with her Heavenly Father above! Our love and deepest sympathy to Ed, Eddie, Jeffrey, and all the family!

I met Joanne when our oldest children, Alina & Eddie attended St. Clement's school. It's been an honor knowing her all these years! I'll always remember her sense of humor & her beautiful smile.
