Domingo Vazquez left a legacy marked by devotion to his family and loved ones when he passed on April 1st 2023 at the age of 97.
A native of Pinar del Rio Cuba, Domingo was the youngest brother of nine children born to Arturo Vazquez Cruz and Ana Mercedes Ubieta.
Domingo studied Law at the University of Havana and embarked on his journey as an attorney. During his time practicing law he would meet the love of his life Margarita Barreras- the daughter of a Supreme Court Justice. The two would marry, have two daughters and flee Cuba during the revolution in 1959 to move to Fort Lauderdale where they would call home for the next 60+ years.
Domingo lost his wife in 2005 but continued to thrive alongside his family. He is survived by his daughter Vivian Arnold (Spouse Dr.Stephen Arnold) their children Brandon Arnold, Brittany Kaufman (Spouse Daniel Kaufman) Alyssa Arnold and Alexis Arnold and grandchildren Ava, Ella and Carter Kaufman, Scarlett and Bentley Perry. His Elder daughter Ann Bartlett-Stewart (Spouse Allan Stewart) his two granddaughters Ashley Bartlett and Alexandria Thompson (Spouse Kurt Thompson) and great grandson Alexander Thompson.
