I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Chuck' s mother.  You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Carol when we played in the Pompano Beach Women's softball league. We were on the same team for many years. We hardly ever won...but we sure did have fun. We all laughed alot and Carol was always our 2nd basewoman and on occasion the catcher. She was the best. I am so sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Carol will remain in my memory as a helluva softball player and a wonderful friend.

What can I say, as my mother was an only child and my Dad's only sibling, was his brother Jack, Carol was pretty much my only Aunt.  So that made her special--but she was special in so many others way.  She had such  determination and dedication to her family, friends and students. And she told it like it is.   I will always remember my visits to Boone, NC in the 70's and family visits-- wish we had more of them...

Dear Kim, John, and Charlie,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We will always have good memories of seeing Carol at Christmas at Valia and Rudy's, and up in the mountains, too. She had a love for life and cared so deeply for her family. May God give each one of you comfort in the days and weeks to come. We love you,

Mrs. Prescott was my English teacher for 3 years during high school.  To me, she always made the class fun and interesting and never let any of us get away with too much!  This was at Pompano High.  She also signed my yearbook and I've never forgotten her words of wisdom.

Sounds like she had a great family and faith which is really what matters.

I just lost my mom also so my deepest condolences go out to you.

Dear Kim, John, Chuck and family:
Our hearts go out to you.  Carol was a dear friend and will be greatly missed.  We shared so many good times over the years.  We have to take comfort knowing that she is whole again and resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and we will see her again.  Christians don't have to say "good-bye" - only "see you later"!
