🦋Carie was my second sister,  of seven children,  and my beautiful friend.
She wanted to move to Tucson recently to live closer to me and to San Diego (our hometown) but God called her home last week.
I’m so thankful we got to say I love you and Goodbyes if only in a usuals text messages on Sunday mornings.
Prior that week, days before her passing, two red cardinals would come and visit me. I believe it was a sign from heaven and from our previous family that has passed on.
Carie was an inspirational and loving sister. She loved singing, country music, giving big hugs and smiles. 
She loved piglet and Disneyland and our last trip, after our mom passed away, together was in 2015, with my neice Kristina. We rode “Its a small world”.  
It was our favorite ride as kids.
As the fireworks were displayed she lit up a huge smile said to me joyfully, “Mom was with us!”
I know Carie you are with mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and all our beautiful family in heaven.  It’s the greatest reunion of love, hope, and kindness.
Let her legacy fill our hearts with forgiveness and beautiful blessings.
We cannot change the past, however we can love each other like there is no end.

And you did just that sister!

I went to High School with beautiful Carie. We sang together in Girls Ensemble. Carie always had a smile on her face and love in her heart to give to anyone. She was always laughing. Rently we would facebook post or chat on messanger.  We both loved our coffee and would try and find the funniest coffee posts to share with each other. I love you Sweet Carie you will be truley missed. 

I met Carrie through Kristina at a  Dixie Chicks concert in August 2016. A month later in September all 3 of us (Kristina, Carrie, and me) went to go see Miranda Lambert in concert. After that Carrie and I didn't hang out as much, but all through 2018 and 2019 we started hanging out more at Round Up. I remember her love for the odd earrings she always used to wear. Like the water bottle ones. I even got her hooked on drinking amaretto sours. She will always be remembered. 

I met Carie at Roundup through her daughter Kristina. She was always smiling and having a great time. I remember standing by bar talking to her about boys or just asking for her advice. She was always happy and ready to have a good time. She has definitely left us too soon. May she rest in peace and always watch over us!

Carie and I have been friends since I was in 10th grade (she was in the year ahead of me). After high school we lost touch until we met up again about ten years ago. Since then we’ve stayed in touch via text and FB. We’ve seen each other several times despite being on opposite coasts. Two years ago my husband, son and I went to Islamorada for vacation. Carie asked if she could drive down after she got off work to see me. It’s a two hour drive! She made it to Islamorada around 7:30 pm. We sat on the beach until around midnight talking, laughing, and catching up while we watched lightning flash over the water. I offered her to stay in our hotel so she wouldn’t have to drive home that late but she had to work the next morning. It was such a fun and beautiful night! Little did I know, when we hugged goodbye that it would be the last time I would ever see her in person. 💕 Love you, My Friend. I will miss you. 

I met Carrie when she came to Quest to visit her husband Christopher and we used to talk.  Then she worked for Quest for awhile and we talked some more.  We became FB friends and chatted quite often.  I will miss her and her upbeat attitude.  RIP Carrie you were a special friend..
