Born of Italian immigrants, she was raised in South Philadelphia and known as the “Queen of Hospitality” by friends, locals and family. Her South Philly front door was always open to friends and neighbors who needed a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, or a good cup of coffee.
Survived by her son, Anthony, daughter Marianne, daughter-in-law Penny, and grandchildren, Emily and Christine. She was also the “second mom” to her nieces, Marie Zabawa and Loretta Di Bruno.
Adelaide is now joined in heaven with her husband, Alfred, daughter Lynn, mother and father, Massimo and Maria, sister, Ida and brother, Angelo. She loved family and family gatherings, and there is a great celebration going on now with her family and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
