Troy will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Evelyn, sister Tricia (Bertrand), his nephew Ryan, niece Ella, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Troy grew up on the West Island of Montreal. He was a talented athlete, who excelled at baseball and hockey, and made lifelong friendships with teammates throughout the years playing youth sports. He was an avid sports fan, and would often impress people with his astounding knowledge of player stats. Troy earned a Bachelor's degree from Concordia University and enjoyed his career in marketing. He gave back to the community by coaching. In 1998, Troy began playing ball hockey, and it quickly became his favourite pastime. He was well known throughout the MBHL community as an exceptional defenseman, and was introduced into the MBHL Hall of Fame in 2007. Troy enjoyed the simple things in life and was happiest hanging out with his friends, watching the Habs play, playing ball hockey, and staying active. Troy was a kind and supportive friend, son, brother, nephew and uncle. His courage and strength in the face of adversity was inspirational. Troy passed away peacefully on August 18th 2022, surrounded by his family. He will be forever missed.
Visitation for Troy will be held on December 2nd, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm, with a prayers service at 7:30pm.
