I am so sorry to hear of Keiths' Passing. Over the years I have thought of your Mom and Dad with fondness and great appreciation for the kindness they always offered. There always seemed to be time to thank them later. They will be remembered by so many friends.
My thoughts are with you.

Sad to hear of Keith's passing. 
He was a great teacher (John Rennie H.S.) who helped me during a difficult time in my life.
I'll always remember the fun times in class and on the basketball court when we, the senior boys, played Keith and the teachers.

So many wonderful memories of Keith! He recruited me into administration, but our connection went back to my grade eleven year at JRHS when he was my principal. He was always a supportive colleague, but during my years in QASA he became a trusted friend. He was a very special "gentle"man.

When JRHS opened in 1955, it had an outstanding staff and Keith Farquharson--"Farky"--was among the best of them. He was an inspired and inspiring teacher, well-liked and respected by his students and, I'm sure, his colleagues. I was saddened to read of his passing and I extend my condolences to Cameron and Carol and their families.

I was deeply saddened and surprised to learn that Mr. F. had left me! As my past boss, he was the greatest. Always understanding that my family came first. He was very generous with time off for family emergencies, (and snow days too, right?, Mr. F) and I really appreciated that. I was still lucky to get to see him regularly, as he sat on many committees and brought me Minutes to type.I will truly miss his visits, our chats and his jokes. Please accept my warmest and deepest sympathies. The world will be a different place without Peggy and Keith Farquharson! xxoo
