My deepest sympathies to the family. I knew John during his days with Air Canada & would often bump into him at Kelly's in Pointe Claire . Often he would tell me stories about how he would "troubleshoot" his condition in much the same way he would an aircraft - often to the chagrin of his doctors  I was always impressed by his positive outlook . He always had a big smile when you met him.

Very sad to hear about John.  He was indeed a gentle soul.  My brother Earl and I remember his visit to Regina, the stay at Earl's farm, and all the adventures at the Grey Cup. John was a good man and will be missed.  Thinking of you and John's family.
