

A devoted husband, father, son and brother, Donald was briefly survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice (née MacQueen) who sadly passed away on January 15th, 2023.
Donald is also survived by his daughters Carole (Brian) Goguen, Lynne (Craig) Goguen, sister Pauline De Trano, grandchildren Elizabeth and Alexander de Solla, and nephews Yves and Luc Arsenault.
He is predeceased by his parents Joseph Aristide Goguen, Marie Emerise (née Bilodeau) Goguen, sisters Irène Goguen, Carmelle Goguen and Hélène Arsenault, niece Julie De Trano, and brothers-in-law Clovis Arsenault and Frank De Trano.
Born in Sherbrooke, QC., Donald lived in Ville St-Pierre, Pointe-Claire, Boston, Dorval, and Kirkland.
Donald earned his degree from Boston University on a hockey scholarship where he made many lifelong friends.
Donald had a successful career in outside sales and sales management. While his family was young, they spent many summers at Lake MacDonald in Harrington, QC. Later in life, they enjoyed all four seasons at their house in La Conception, QC.
Donnie loved life and enjoyed many sports and hobbies such as playing hockey, skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his charisma, his charm, his infectious smile and his wonderful sense of humour.
The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Drs. Chrysler and Abadir for their diligent care in recent years.
A visitation at 10 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. will be held for Donald and Janice on Saturday, January 28th, 2023, at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, located at 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC H9S 3X6. A reception will follow at noon.
