It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing on October 11, 2023 of Charles (Charlie) Michael Roche Jr at the age of 100. He is reunited with his late wife of 62 years, Lise (Mantha) Roche, who passed away in 2021.
He leaves behind his sons Michael (Roberta), Paul (Rosa), Patrick (Paula) and daughter Renee (Patrick) as well as grandchildren Danny, Andrew, Monica, Steven, Connor, and Casey as well as nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
Both Charlie and Lise were avid golfers and long-time members at the Royal Montreal Golf Club. Charlie was an outstanding athlete having played golf in the Canadian Open as an amateur and a professional hockey player who continued skating into his 90’s. Charlie was a World War II veteran, serving active duty as a tail gunner in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Charlie had a great sense of humor and loved interacting with people of all walks of life. He will be dearly missed by the many people who crossed his path during his long life.

Charlie's funeral will be held at St-Thomas-a-Becket church in Pierrefonds at 11 am on November 11, 2023.
