Steven Vincent Carey, resident of Seffner, Florida passed away on September 20, 2018 at the South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL at the age of 67. Mr. Carey was born on June 29, 1951 in the Bronx, New York to the late Vincent Carey and the late Gloria Andrukevich Carey.He retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation after 16 years and was previously a SMSGT in the United States Airforce, where he served for 25 years.
To his family, Mr. Carey was credited for being immensely detailed-oriented and organized. He liked to read user manuals and instructions, took pleasure in wood-working, jogging, traveling, and watching Tampa Bay Buccaneers and UCONN Women’s Basketball games on television. Most of all, Mr. Carey expressed love for his wife, two children, six children, three grandchildren, 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery.
