Nicholas Cody "Toad" Boggs
Nicholas Cody "Toad" Boggs, 33, of Lakeland, Florida passed away after a brief illness on June 24, 2020. Born November 20, 1986 to Thomas Theodore Boggs and Sheila Diane Pitts in Tampa, Florida, he was raised in the Ruskin area, and eventually moved to the Plant City/Lakeland area where he resided until his death.
Cody was a hard-working young man who loved to cook, he enjoyed working in the yard with plants and took pride in creating beautiful flower beds around the house. He would help anyone with anything they needed and never complain. Cody was part of a very large family, being the 5th son of 8 boys and also had 4 sisters. He loved to get together with his brothers and they would clown around like brothers do, playing football, video games or having roman candle fights on the 4th of July. They would always drag their sisters into it as well. Cody lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every day while he could.
The one accomplishment in Cody's short life that he was so proud of was his children, Jaiden Marie, James Theodore and Jesse Raymond Boggs. They were always in his heart and his mind, and he wanted nothing but the very best for them.
Cody was a beautiful soul whose life was over too soon, he will be always love and missed. He is survived by his father, Thomas Theodore Boggs, his mother, Sheila Diane Pitts Massie; brothers, John Adam Mosher (Jennifer); Thomas Ryan Boggs (Rebecca); Shane Edward Michael Boggs; Matthew Jarrett Boggs; Bill Tyler Boggs (Tonya); Richard Troy Taylor (Courtney); James Anthony Goodrich (Ciara), sisters, Brett Ashton Mosher (Junior); Jenna Shay Taylor (Phoenix); Olivia Blaze Taylor; Tammy Marie Farris (Ander).
Nieces and nephews: Jonathan Mosher; Selena, Breanna and Thomas Boggs; Samuel, Alex, Matthew and Evan Boggs; Jocelyn Boggs; Brandon and Lilly Taylor; Alexandria, Arianna, and Abbey Lopez, Olivia, Damien and Gabriel Goodrich; Brian Anderson, Kaley, Sean, Ethan, Hope and Faith Mosher; Kayden Zimmerman and Vivian Pena; Lamar Cortez. Great nieces and nephew: Violet and Rosa Garner; Aydn Johnson; Childhood friends: Ashley Careggio and Brad Beasley. Ashley was Cody's best friend, they never lost touch and were always there for one another through thick and thin.
He is also survived by his Aunt Jenny (Nan) Pitts (Rob) whom he loved very much. His maternal grandparents, Charles Edward Pitts Jr and Constance Jean Price. Uncles: Charles Edward Pitts III, Luther Shane McCurdy. Aunts: Katherine Sue Pitts, Debra Jean Pitts. His paternal uncles: Willie Boggs and Tyson Hielman.
And too many cousins to count who was very close to him and loved him very much, Benton Pitts, Grant Pitts, John Charles Pitts, Quintin Pitts and Jessica and Jamie David. Joshua and Renee Wieczorek. We could be here all day if I listed them all, just know that he loved you all so much.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Cora Sue Hielman; and grandfather, William Henderson Boggs. Aunts: Linda Dobbins and Ann Hall.
