Carol Hall Pike Teagle

Carol Teagle took her last breath on January 21, 2016 and returned to her Heavenly Father after 96 years on this earth. Born August 26,1919 in Marietta OH, she is preceded in death by her son, William C. Pike; son in law, Bob Short; sisters, Betty Jo Brady and Virginia Krieger. She is survived by daughter, Cindy Short (Plant City, FL); granddaughter, Jennifer Eden (Lilburn Railey) (Orlando, FL); five great grandsons, Hunter Fromang (Richmond, VA), Blake Fromang (Nashville, TN), Spencer Fromang (Oxford, MS), Brian Okam (Winston Salem, NC), Christopher Candy (Jonesboro, GA); 3 great granddaughters, Whitney Railey (Orlando, FL), Hannah Grace Bohannon (Jonesboro, GA) Casey Cline (Matthew) (Charleston, SC); 2 great-great grandchildren (Zoe and Jacob); 3 nieces, Carol Tittle (Chuck); Sue Ann Foster, Sally McCoy(Gene); and 2 nephews, Joe Krieger (Carolyn) and Tom Krieger (Jackie).

Carol grew up in Huntington, W. VA and spent most of her adult life in Ormond Beach, FL where she was an avid tennis player and multiple championship golfer. She moved to Lakeland, FL in the late 80's to be near her daughter. Carol was a lifetime Christian and belonged to several Baptist churches during her lifetime. She was a beautiful homemaker and loved her family dearly. She had a terrific sense of humor which will be missed. A special thanks to all the staff, nurses and CNA's at Highlands Lake Center who gave the most professional, loving care and a special thanks to the Good Shepherd Hospice, the Magnolia Group, for all your tender care.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 with a viewing at 10am and service immediately following at 11am at Wells Memorial Funeral Home 1903 W Reynolds St. Plant City, FL 33563.
