Terrie Lee Ryan, 67, of Allen, TX, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2022. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT on April 8, 1955. Terrie graduated from Olympus High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. She was married to Leonard Kent Ryan on June 18, 1976 in the Salt Lake City temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Terrie loved teaching Elementary school and tutoring students to read, but her true calling was as wife and mother. She raised 5 children, working hard as a homemaker, and finding ways to supplement income through substituting at local schools and with her seamstress skills. She loved plays and music and dancing and would take any opportunity she could to organize skits, roadshows for church, and other events. Her true love is for the Lord Jesus Christ and for her family. Through high school, college, and her adult life she was involved in many service organizations and volunteered her time and skills to help many in need. She served valiantly in a variety of positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her love and service to others shows in how many lives she touched along the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leland & Barbara Davis, her husband Leonard Kent Ryan, her son Nathan Ryan, and her sister Sharon Weinle. She is survived by her children Rachel Hunt, Eric Ryan [Laura], Nicholas Ryan [Amanda], and Jeremy Ryan [Aubree], and survived by her 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Janice Child [Lynn], Marilyn Smith [Carl], Jim Davis [Sandra], and brother-in-law Roland Weinle.
