Harold Lewis Van Nort, age 73, passed away on March 15, 2011 in Plano, TX. He was born on September 28, 1937 in Pulaski, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Jane Van Nort of Plano; sons, Mark Van Nort and wife Kelly of New Hampshire and Michael Van Nort of New York; daughters, Deborah Atkins and husband John of Virginia and Catherine Van Nort of New York; step-daughter, Mary Jane O’Hearn of Houston; daughter-in-law, Susan O’Hearn and son-in-law, Patrick Napelitano; grandchildren, John Glenn Atkins, Joseph Lee Atkins, Jack Van Nort and Ella Van Nort, Lisa Napelitano, Brint O’Hearn, Kathryn O’Hearn and Rebecca O’Hearn. Harold was preceded in death by step-children, John O’Hearn and Carol Napelitano. He will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Ted Dickey Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the critical care staff at Medical Center of Plano for their superb care.
