Weiss – Richard W. of Bethpage, NY passed away on April 5, 2022. Devoted husband, of 63 years, who cared for the love of his life Josephine. Loving father of John (Carolyn), Robert (Pamela), Denise (Nicholas) Milano, Edward (Marci), Thomas (Annemarie), Diane (John) Gibbons, and Richard. Cherished grandfather to Michael, Grant, Parker, Morgan, Claudia, Audrey, Sabrina, Paige, Alec, Maximus, Anna and Erin. Brother to Lorraine (Edmund) Rivera. Richard was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who got joy from his family and was so proud of their accomplishments. Family and friends may visit at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 655 Old Country Rd. Plainview, on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service for Richard will be Sunday 7pm at the funeral home. Interment Monday 12pm at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
