Lucille M. Thoma was born June 11, 1920 in Boonville, Miss., and passed away on March 6, 2018 in Placerville, Calif. Lucille is survived by her Son Lylle "Bud" and Daughter Marilyn and grandchildren Darin, Kim, Jeff, Jeannie, Dale, Ted, Janet, Blaze, Christa, Tara; as well as 18 great grandchildren. Lucille was the 8th of 9 siblings. Lucille was a fifteen year El Dorado County resident who volunteered for many years for hospice. She was a strong leader, compassionate about her faith, loved knitting, reading, playing (winning) cards and bingo. Lucille lived a full and healthy life, (her 98th birthday was three months away) She enjoyed family and friends leaving quite a legacy. Lucille will be missed but will continue to be remembered and loved by family and friends. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 13th at 10:30 am with a Mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Placerville, Calif., with a celebration of Lucille's life immediately following.
