Its your birthday today and I just wanted to say that all the times you would let us watch spongebob and the three times I crashed your computer and how Chevy used to jump up on you in your chair, I miss. So so much. I know I speak for my two older sisters when I say each day passing we feel like there's something missing when your not here😭😭

My Bother has passed and with his passing,another chapter in life's lesson is to be learned.
My lesson is to know the blessings in life are bounty- full and we have just to be made aware of them. Ken was that blessing in many ways and he will be missed.

My Brother, my Brother!
Time and distant has hampered my attendance at the honoring of my brother on this day. However, I would like to take this time to remember My Brother on this day. Many may come by and wonder who this person is and why should they stop and read the condolences to his memory. To this I would say,It is because he lived, that others were born, others were influenced by his presence and others were supported in lives that they shared. So friend or not,please be aware of your own mortality. 
On this day; 12-12-14 my brother is being remember for who he was and sharing loving thoughts as to why it mattered.
For me, He was my brother!!
I remember him as I grew up. He was seven years older than I,and although I did not share in his early years because of the difference in age, I still have a memory of sharing early family life. My memories were of sharing a bed with Ken and my brother Tom. Of nights of prayer when my father was away, my mother would leave the bedroom doors open and we (brothers and sisters),would pray the rosary for my father who was away at the time. I remember that Ken was the oldest and it fell on him to maintain a family unity while my father was away. I remember that he had a passion with photography and that he had a photo developing room in the kitchen pantry. He had developing equipment and an enlarger and many things to make photos. He would rush to any accidents or events that would make a good picture and then would try and sell them to the newspapers. I remembered being inspired by his tenacity of getting things done. We as a family, grew up in Parker Homes, which was a developing community that was built for people who worked at McClellan Field. My Mother and Father worked there and then later on my Brother Ken worked there.The early years of family growing up was memorable in that,as a family,we shared friendships with others and they came together to make life what life is to be about.As children, we would get together with neighboring kids and play, Kick the Can, or Hide and Seek. We would play tag football and baseball in the fields close to home. We would play marbles and dig fox holes and use them as a fort or a place to go. Memories that I shared with my brother Ken and my other siblings. Life was good. It was the war years as I grew up and my brother, to soon went to War in Korea. My memory was not to clear on this subject but I knew I did not want to have to go to war and take lives and I awaited the day of my brothers return to the Home Hearth. He did come home and I was enthralled with his stories and his adventures. He did not talk of the time spent in Korea other than a few incidences. I was memorized by my brother at that time because he was at places far,far away and it was exciting to hear him talk about his adventures. As time went by, we went our different ways but as adults,we communicated and was aware of each others life styles. As he continued to live in California and developed a family and a lifestyle ,I was adventuring in differing ways. My end result was to live in Alaska. My brother finally was able to come to Alaska and visit me. He enjoyed his time up here and he looked forward to coming back. He did of course on his honeymoon with his bride,Priscilla.He took the easy way, The Cruise Ship.Yet again, he wanted to come back.
In the later years, my brother continued on in his passion for learning and doing community things. He developed an interest in Genealogy and pursued that with a passion as he did most things that he got attached to.We continued to communicate via the phone or the mail. When he found something of interest in genealogy ,he would communicate with me on my knowledge of the subject matter. I would often get calls from Ken on different matters and so when I got a call and it was generated by Priscilla  ,I was on guard. I was shocked by what I was presented as it seemed to eerie. Life is what it is and our timing is not our Makers timing and so we must be aware that each moment of life is precious and we should make the most of it. Ken, I feel has done this and so this day is to honor his life and his accomplishments and to know that our time is but a moment of reflexion and we should seize the moment and make life memorial to ourselves and to the people we love. So to Ken, I would say,Well Done. To others I would say, look for and follow examples of other people that have made a difference in lives. The life of many are impacted by Kens life and they should be aware and honor his presents on earth. So this Day I honor you,brother Ken and thank you for the time that we shared. Their will be people that will grieve over you passing but I know that you will be collecting your rewards while we still struggle to make life as best as we can.Your presents will be missed ,but your memory will live on. GOD BLESS and may our lives be inspired by yours.Perfection may not be achieved but the attempt of living the good life should be our goal.
