Donna Jean Petersen

age of 67 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, Frank; children Autumn (Greg),

Kelly (Rick), Richard and Christy (Aras); grandchildren Madison, Jacey, Everett, Liam, Hudson,

Oliver, Lily, Ryder, River, Sage and Laila as well as numerous friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother Diana.

Donna was born on June 11, 1954 in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was educated in the

local public schools and graduated from Arroyo High School in 1972. After spending much of

her young adulthood in the Bay Area, she along with her husband and children, relocated in

1994 to El Dorado County. Throughout her life she worked many jobs in her communities, but

her most treasured role was that of mother and grandmother. Following her retirement in 2018

she spent much of her time doing the things she loved most. She was an avid crafter, painter,

and a sewing enthusiast. Donna cherished celebrating with her family and friends whenever

there was an opportunity. She was the life of every gathering she attended. Donna’s

open-hearted generosity, easy laugh and quick-wit will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
