Diane Elaine O'Connor

Diane Elaine O’Connor passed away in Placerville, CA on January 1, 2014. Loving mother of Ryan (Tammy) O’Connor of Castaic, CA and Cindy O’Connor and Cathy Keever both of Placerville; sister of Marie Ford of Ridgecrest, CA and the Late Philip L. Cote; devoted grandmother of Meghan, Marcella, Sean and Laura; preceded in death by her parents, Irvey and Dorothy Cote.

A native of Red Mountain, Ca, aged 74 years. Diane grew up working in her parent’s grocery store in Red Mountain. She retired from Bank of America in Palmdale as a Real Estate appraiser and moved to Placerville from Lancaster in 2005. Diane was lovingly known as Nana to her family, friends and grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2013 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento St., Placerville. Inurnment will be Friday, Jan. 24th at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Contributions in Diane’s name may be made to Animal Outreach, POBox 480, Diamond Springs, CA 95619. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, Placerville.
