In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three of his children; Courtney R. Larkin and Hilary A. and Gerald S. Rodgers.
He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him greatly including a sister, Linda Fletcher, a son Jeffery Rodgers, son in law Robert Larkin, best friend Ruth Clarke, grandchildren Jason and Sarah Rodgers, Justine Hutchison (Dustin), Ashley Larkin (Alex Lugar) and great grandchildren Carson and Landon Hutchison and Isabella Lugar.
We will miss his stories of his travels, his laughter and how his eyes lit up when we came to visit. Bill was an avid reader and loved all Pittsburgh sports especially the Pittsburgh Pirates which he held season tickets for. He enjoyed dining out, watching for birds in his back yard and traveling, having been all over the world for work, pleasure and while serving in the Army. He was a well known Electrical Engineer who started his own business, Indriss and was responsible for many installations in Western Pennsylvania and around the world; including having helped to build the Raging Rapids in Kennywood. All services are private and are entrusted to the HP Brandt Funeral Home, Inc.
In lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to the Northland Public Library in McCandless Pa.
