Patricia A Stewart

Patricia A. Stewart, 83, of Ross Township, passed away Thursday Feb. 9, 2023 at the Wexford Healthcare Center. Patricia was born on Feb. 8, 1940 to the late George G. Stewart and Margaret (Galloway) Stewart.

Music was the central theme of Pat’s life. She received a Masters degree in music education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and taught elementary music in the Clairton School District for a number of years. She played the violin and was a member of the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra.

Pat loved Golden Retrievers and had five of them over the years. She donated to many charities and organizations. Pat was a cancer survivor, and received recognition for being cancer free.

Pat is survived by her brother, Bradley G.Stewart, two nieces, and two great nephews.

Friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Private burial will take place the following day at Allegheny Cemetery in Lawrenceville, PA. Patricia will be buried next to her parents.
