Peggy (Tadder) McNamee, 64, of Kilbuck Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Bill McNamee; loving mother of David (Amy) McNamee and Katie McNamee; proud grandmother of Connor and Addison; sister of Joann (John) Miller, Lynda Tadder, Judy (Tom) Stein, Gwen (Ron) Adams and Charles Tadder. She recently retired after 46 years with Malachy Whalen & Company. Peggy had a passion for music and dedicated her time and talents to various Churches and organizations, which include; Music Coordinator at Trinity United Methodist, former Music Director at Forest Avenue Presbyterian and Bellevue Central Methodist, Chair of Area II American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, Secretary and Treasurer of North Hills Handbell festival and past President of the Pittsburgh chapter of Presbyterian Association of Musicians. Peggy’s love for music recently sent her to Romania with the Trinity Jubilee Ringers to teach their youth to play Handbells.
A memorial service will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 530 Center Church Road, McMurray, PA 15317 (724)941-4770 on Saturday, October 20th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peggy’s name to the Trinity UMC building fund. Peggy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Orion C.
