Margaret E Abercrombie

Margaret “Marge” E. Abercrombie age 93, of Bellevue passed away quietly with her family by her side on February 14, 2022. She was born on the Northside of Pittsburgh to the late Matthew and Katherine Lascak.

She was the loving wife of the late Charles J. Abercrombie. She is preceded in death by her sisters Irene Messina, Rosie Whewell, Wilma Burke and her brother Steve Lascak.

Left behind to honor her life are her children; Cathy (Carl) Brown, Chuck (Mary) Abercrombie, Caryn (Joe) Brooke. She is the loving Grandmother to Amanda and Kelsey, loving Gram to Caitlyn and loving Nonny to Hannah. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Davon and Saela.

Marge was a Chocoholic extraordinaire. She will be fondly remembered for her complete devotion and love for her family. She was kind, loving, and considerate and admired by all who knew her. She enjoyed watching gameshows, Knight Rider, Law and Order, Bull and shopping for her grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at the Orion Pinkerton Funeral home 1014 California Ave. Avalon Pa 15202 on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A blessing service will take place on Saturday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Marge had a great love for animals, she was met at the rainbow bridge by her 3 Dobermans. She will be missed by her two felines at home. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Animal Friends in loving memory of Marge. https://www.thinkingoutsidethecage.org
