Helen D. Gibson

Helen D. Gibson, age 98, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Helen was born September 4, 1923 in Cresson, PA. She was the daughter of the late Clark C. Duncan and Ethel Mae Bratton Duncan

Helen enjoyed bowling, crafting and needle work. She found joy in playing the organ and was always ready to learn something new.

Above all she was a Loving wife, mother, grand mother, great grandmother, and a sister.

She is survived by her son Robert C. (Kathy) Gibson of Franklin, PA, two daughters; Carole C. (Luke) Spiros of Mt. Airy, MD., Judith A. (David) Baret of Cranberry Township, six grandchildren; Jason, Audra, Courtney, Michelle, Joshua, Stephanie, 6 great grandchildren; Nolan, Cameron, Gabriel, Sophia, Lincoln, and Aiden, a sister; Marion (Sam) Calderone of Mt. Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert D. Gibson who passed away in 1999, and threes sisters; Florence Edgar, Beula Wilkinson, and Naomi Haffley.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday October 5, 2021 from 11:00 AM till the time of service at 1:00 PM at the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Highway Pittsburgh, PA 15237
