Frank A Gyescek, age 93, formally of Ross Twp. PA passed away in Jacksonville Florida on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Frank was born in Pittsburgh PA to the late Anthony and Marie (Baysek) Gyescek. He was the beloved husband to the late Theresa (Bodnar) Gyescek.
Together Frank and Theresa raised their children Francis Gyescek and Diane Gyescek (Robert) Henry. Frank was honorably discharged from the United States Army during the Korean War Conflict. In 1954 Frank became employed at the United States Postal Service and worked his entire life until retiring. Frank was a hard worker and remained as a carrier his entire career making sure the mail was delivered no matter the weather conditions. In 2022 Frank moved Florida and remained there during his retirement.
A visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
