Dolores Kaczmarek

Dolores, (Dori) Kaczmarek, 79 of Ross Twp., went to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 6, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family after a long journey with Alzheimer's as a resident of St. Barnabas Nursing Home. Daughter of the late Anthony and Dolores (Loebig) Dietz, beloved wife of Carl Kaczmarek, loving mother of Sharon (Robert) Reddick, Thomas (Louise) McLellan, Alexander K. (Bianca) McLellan, Jacqueline McLelland and David Kaczmarek. Grandmother of Matthew, Carly, Michael, Rashelle, Nadia and Alex, sister of Ronald Dietz, Edward Dietz, Susan Hergenroeder and the late Victoria Steinmetz, loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews, and loving fur mom to her favorite pets Rosie and Leo.

Dori graduated from Mount Assisi High School in 1960, worked as a waitress at Kings Family Restaurant, Crafton where she met her husband, Carl. During her time at St. Barnabas Dori will be remembered for her beautiful smile, cheerfulness and her contagious laugh. Dori touched many lives there and was loved by all who met her.

Friends and family are welcomed to the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh 15237 on March 10, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on March 11th, 2022, at St. Teresa of Avila Church 1000 Avila Ct. Pittsburgh PA 15237 at 12:30pm. Burial to follow at Christ our Redeemer Cemetery.
