If you knew Clara, you were very lucky!
She was born on November 18, 1931 in Lawrenceville, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Kamyk. She was a strong, tell it like it is woman. The youngest of seven children, she married the love of her life, Herman J. Manski. They were married for 49 years and had 5 children, Mike (Diane) Manski, Cindy Bagwell, Janet Hogan, Jim (Kelli) Manski and Lynne Green, 19 grandchildren, Nicole (Tim) Regula, Brittany (Steven) Lehr, Michael Jr, Carli (Brooks) Ward, Liz (Joe) Zimmerman, Emily (Brandon) Olsen, Matthew (Ashlee) Bagwell, Noelle (Doug) Zimorowicz, Chelsey (Fred Landwher) Hogan, Erin Manski, Ben Manski, Nicklaus Green, William Green and Ryan (Heather) Beiser and 5 great grandchildren: Owen Zimorowicz, Adalee Olsen, and Ava, Madison, and Connor Beiser.
She loved listening to and watching the Pirates. She also loved playing bingo, golf, and cards. Her family was the focus of her life, and she lived a full life with no regrets. She had many great friends and the best neighbors anyone could wish for. She was a happy lady and always let everyone know that “she was one lucky lady”.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 9:30am – 11:15am at H. P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc. 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp. (412-364-4444), where a blessing service will be held at 11:15am immediately following visitation. Online condolences may be offered at www.brandtfuneralhome.com
The family would like to add a special “Thank You” to the friends and staff at the Cumberland Crossing Manor that she called home for the last 3 years. She made some wonderful friends there and had some of the best care givers anyone could ever ask for. They were absolutely amazing! Our Mom considered them to be her very special friends during her stay there. There are no words that can describe the care and friendship they gave to our Mom.
