Allie Mae Amrhein

Allie Mae Amrhein, 95, of Surfside, SC, formerly of McCandless Twp., passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1928 in Providence, Kentucky to the late William Chesley, and Martha Ader (Holeman) Key. She was preceded in death by her husband; Marcel Amrhein.

Allie had worked as a crossing guard for McCandless Twp. She was a former member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church of Highlands, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, the outdoors and cooking.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grand mother and great-great grandmother.

Allie is survived by her three sons; Marcel J. Jr. (Kay) Amrhein, of Economy Boro, Robert Amrhein of Surfside, SC., and Elwin (Anette) Amrhein of Butler, numerous grandchildren, great grand-children, and great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her two brothers; Homen and Robert Lee Key, two step brothers; Fred and Elmer, and her daughter-in-law; Janet Marie Amrhein.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the H.P Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237 where a service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park in Allison Park.
