Janice Tolliver Meadows, 90, of McGraws passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House. Born October 28, 1925 at Saulsville, she was the daughter of late Dan Tolliver and Ada Clay Tolliver. She started her career at the Glen Rogers Mine Office, after college. There she went to Winding Gulf at Maben for 15 years and there to Eastern Coal Company for 19 ½ years where she retired. She was the oldest member of the Saulsville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Meadows; and 4 brothers, Clyde, Jim, Woodrow and Murrell Tolliver Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Dye and her husband, Newman of Saulsville A brother, Danny Tolliver and his wife Martha Jane of Bolt 2 grandsons, Kevin Dye and his wife, Holly of Lexington, KY Scott Dye and his wife, Michelle of Huntington 3 great-grandchildren, Madison Dye and Reese Dye both of Huntington and Keegan Dye of Kentucky. A celebration of Janice’s life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Saulsville Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Knotts officiating. The family will receive friends from noon on Saturday until the time of the service.
Burial will follow in the Clay Family Cemetery, Saulsville Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
