Ronnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a kind hearted person who always put the needs of others before his own. Ronnie was a very talented man who owned his own construction company, Plantation Contractors. While doing construction, Ronnie invented several special tools. He invented an Easy Tug, Grader Bucket, Self-Proclaimed Famous HOOK and much more. Ronnie was also a lifelong musician who wrote several songs. He played in numerous different bands as a guitarist and vocalist. He was very passionate about music, loved eating, and going to the camp.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of seventeen years, Joretta Callahan Landry; three children, Grant Landry (Lydia) Chase Landry (Mariah), and Emily Landry; one step daughter, Rebecca Harrall; three grandchildren, Ian Landry, Briar Landry, and Palmer Landry; three step grandchildren, Cory Harrall, Jay Morris, and Ronnie Harrall Jr.; eight siblings, Preston Landry, Elaine Breaux, Patty Rivere, Wesley Landry, Lonnie Landry, Darrell Landry, Debbie Mabile, and Lisa Landry and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Cremation to follow.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gertie Landry and one infant brother, Lonnie Landry.
