Lula Landry

Lula Belle Marie “Lou” Landry, 71, passed away on September 26, 2010. She is survived by her husband Wilbert E. “Bert” Landry Sr.; four daughters Debra Tanner (Rhett), Gail Landry, Janet Louviere, Lynn Marionneaux (Kenny), and Joy Lynn Duet (Brad); two sons Bruce Landry (Gloria) Retired Master Sergeant (USAF) and First Sergeant Matthew Landry (US Army) (Lori); four sisters Shirley Aucoin, Anna Belle Landry, Virgis Acosta, and Geneva Edwards; three brothers Wilson, Nelson, and Gilbert Landry;11 grandchildren Keri Landry, Dominique “John Paul” Landry, Bruce Landry Jr., Larry Sanchez Jr., Jamie Tabor, Gena Louviere, Casey Marionneaux, Dylan Marionneaux, Matthew Landry Jr, Jay Marionneaux, and Darren Marionneaux; 12 great-grandchildren Jordan Landry, Jensen Landry, Amber Sanchez, Collin Louviere, Christian Scribner, Blain Tabor, Madison Marionneaux, Tyler Albert, Payten Albert, Clayton Marionneaux, Kyle Marionneaux, and Jocelyn Marionneaux.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cerila Fostine Cavalier; father Gibson Joseph Landry; son Wilbert E. Landry Jr.; two brothers Norris and Wilbert “Shebe” Landry.

Pallbearers will be First Sergeant Matthew Landry (US Army), Bruce Landry Retired MSgt (USAF), Kenny Marionneaux, Jensen Landry, Brad Duet, Jerhett Albert, Larry Sanchez Jr., and Rhett Tanner.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dylan Marionneaux and Matthew Landry Jr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
