Albert Pierre Aucoin

Albert Aucoin, a resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at his home at the age of 75. Albert was an avid crawfisher, hunter, fisher, and trapper. Albert belonged to the Pierre Part Hunting Club. In his free time, he enjoyed wood crafting and camping, and collecting hats. Albert had a great love for his wife and family and enjoyed spending time with them. Albert will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Lee ""Marie"" Aucoin; daughters, Arlene Aucoin and Tammy Aucoin Montz and husband, Dustin; son, Preston Aucoin and wife, Kim; sisters, Audrey Alleman and husband, Harold, Margie Acosta and husband, Hilary(Pookie), and Delta Broussard and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Savannah Aucoin, Derrick Aucoin, and Gabrielle Rico. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Clement ""Grim"" and Egladie Aucoin; brother, Herman Aucoin, and godchild, Chris Gros. Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home of Pierre Part on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 10, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow in St. Joseph the Worker Church Cemetery. Preston Aucoin, Dustin Montz, Derrick Aucoin, Albert Metrejean Jr., Harold Alleman, and Scott Domingue will serve as pallbearers.
