Mario and I were friends in the late 90s. I was working at the Computer Learning Center, where he and his cousin, Francisco, were attending classes.
The last time I spoke with Mario was in October, 2001. We were supposed to meet up a few weeks later, but that never happened. 
I've pretty much been searching for Mario and Francisco since 2005 to no avail.
I'm devastated to come across this obituary today. My friend has been gone since 2015 and I'm so sad to know this. 
My condolences go out to his entire family. I have so many fun memories of Mario and the antics we used to get involved in while on campus. He will always be cherished. ❤

My Lil brother Mario...I love you and I miss you so much.   I don't know how to explain how my world has been turned upside down now that you're not here.  I'm expecting you to come over even though I know you aren't.  I believe and know you are in heaven with our Lord and Savior.  But my heart still hurts. I know you're happy, your singing and dancing.  I know you're giving heaven that extra flash.   Youre the best brother. I'm so thankful you were all mine.   You and I have a bond that is one of a kind.  You will always be my rock, my strength,  my inspiration,  my happiness, my pillar,  my joy,  my confidant,  my support,  my everything.  Thank you for helping me with everything but especially for helping me raise a wonderful kid.  Johnny loves you and misses you just as much.  He's on a mission to live his life to continue to make you proud.  He has a lot of milestones coming up and we know you'll still be with us at each and every one.  We will see you again and I can't wait.  For now I will keep you alive in memory in my heart and with every story.   I love you Lil brother. You will always be my #1. You are truly missed by many Mario everytime we got together it was a great time and you always left an ever lasting loving funny impression on us all you were truly an amazing loving, giving man you were truly an Angel here on Earth and now our Angel in Heaven, and i will forever remember you in my Heart love you.

I worked with Mario and was only beginning to get to know him.  I thought he was a smart, funny, and interesting man (his emails made me laugh very hard), and I regret that I won't be able to get acquainted with him more.  The office is a sadder place without him.  I extend my condolences to his friends and family--it is clear that he will be greatly missed.

I know we are not blood related however, you always made me feel like I was part of you family.  I know we don't understand why God takes the one's we love but I do believe he needed you to come home. He saw something in your spirit that we can not see. May you Rest In Peace. This is hard to write to one of the most kindhearted, genuine, full of life & one of my important men in my life. Thank you for all you have done for my family, my father & I . Even though we didn't catch eyes to eye on football but I loved it. I wish he didn't have to leave so soon. I know it won't be forever to see you again. I miss you calling me or texting me. My handsome primo!  I still can't believe.   You touched so many lives in so many ways.  I don't know how to get to normal again.  There's a big hole in my heart.
