Caleb, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was one of the kindness people ever. She use to carry Courtney from the Presbyterian Day Care to Ben Hagood. I hope the love and memories you shared, keep you comforted in the days ahead.

We were heartbroken to hear of Tracey’s passing.  We were in La Maze classes with Tracey and Greg.  Then we were in the hospital together giving birth. Tracey gave our two boys their first haircuts.  She will be missed, but not forgotten. Your family will continue to be in our prayers.

Dear Caleb and Logan,
It is with a heavy heart that I write you both to convey the sorrow I feel as I have learned of your Mothers passing. Although it’s been a good many years, I remember her vividly, her energy and enthusiasm. She clearly loved you both to no end and it is my firm belief that that same energy, her spirit, will be with you both and your loved ones till the end of time.  Life  often seems to be unpredictable  and filled with random acts that make no sense and conversely there are daily acts of kindness, beauty and mystery that when you experience them, think of her, as I’m certain she’d want it that way. Caleb, Tj our son, played ball with you when you guys were probably 5 & 6 and we enjoyed some fun times with your family.. I have known your family for a long time even though I haven't seen them for years. Our prayers are with you today and forever as losing your Mom is something you never get over. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Please trust that I am praying for you during these difficult days. You two have been  Hagood student friends a long time and I recall how proud your mom was of your many accomplishments. She supported and loved you so much. As you grieve I pray that you will fill the tragic void with the joys and memories of your mother’s many gifts of love.  There are really no adequate words and only God really understands your hearts. I will pray now and in the weeks ahead for comfort, peace and healing. Just take one day at a time and hold on to the Hands of Jesus. 

I have a lot of childhood memories of her. I always enjoyed our big family reunions getting to see this side of the family and all the summer at the lake. She was a sweetheart and will be missed.

Tracey and I were good friends in High School, with a lot of good memories. This is such a tragic loss and she will be missed. Prayers for her family. Rest in Peace Tracey,    Gail Young


Tracey will be truly missed. She always lit up a room when she came in. So sorry for us friends and her family as everyone tries to get through this tragedy! RIP sweet Tracey!

Though Vickie cut my hair, Tracey was always present with that infectious smile and laughter. She was always so upbeat, and could make your day brighter by saying hello. Caleb and Logan, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God give you the peace that only He can give, and may you feel His grace throughout the coming days. 

I’m deeply saddened by the loss of Tracey. I have fond memories of her winning smile and infectious laughter.  Be strong, Caleb and Logan, knowing she was loved by so many. Sincere condolences as she is laid to rest. Thoughts and prayers for y’all and your families as you mourn. 

Tracey was one of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She alway greeting both of us with a warm welcome when hair cut time rolled around and a hug like she meant it.  You felt like you had known her all of your life. We just about had. She and Greg would come to our house before they had children and play games and celebrate life.  We loved Tracey and are praying that God will help us understand how she could possible be gone.  Prayers for Caleb and Logan and families. 

I was devastated to hear the news of Tracey's passing.  She had a heart of gold, and always treated me with love, respect, and compassion.  I recall the fun times when she and Greg came to visit us at our apartment in Columbia and we listened to the USC games together and had such a great time.  She is such a special lady, and she is part of a very special family.  I don't know why things happened as they did, but I will never forget her, nor how good she always was to me.  I know that we are all devastated by her death, but I try to look back at all of the lives she touched in such a positive way.  She was certainly like a second mom to me during the time that our worlds were intertwined.  Though it has been a while since I have seen her, I can still see that infectious smile in my memories.  And those are memories that I will never forget.  Rest peacefully Tracey, you are loved by so many. 

Want to send my prayers up for the nix family. Tracey cut my hair back 34 yr ago  Been to the family lake house and attended church with then a few times.  I remember when see give birth to her first son. Always a kind and have a big smile on her face. 

Sometimes here on earth we will never understand of the things that happen in our lives, but God is there to hold us together with his loving arms.  Tracey will be missed not only by her family but of Pickens!!! She never met a stranger. And oh so proud of the days that Caleb and Logan came into this world!!you could see her smile from Easley!! I pray that you lean on God during this time and remember how much she loved you!!  God bless you all as my prayers.

You was my 2nd mom, my bestfriend, the one I shared everything with I still can't believe that you are gone. As I seat here and think about you Family I feel like I have lost my on. See she wasn't just my hairdresser since I was 10 yrs old Caleb and Logan she was my mom to. Her advice, listening ear, our cries together, Or just a shoulder for me to cry on, she once told me if she could have ever had a daughter she would want her to be just like me have my heart and love for others. We was so close and tight. I loved her so much she was always there for me no matter what time day or night. She was a wonderful lady she loved all of you. We talked about you all she loved those grandbabies, your girlfriends as well Logan she was so proud of you and you as well Caleb. Now as both of you I don't know what I am going to do without her. I love you all and am praying for you all! I love you sweet Angel fly high till we meet again! Love your baby girl CJ

 Even though it's been a while since I've seen Tracey I do know what a wonderful person she was.  I grew up around the Gillespie family and the Nix family, that's what happens when you live in a small town you either know them or your kin to them. My prayers and thoughts are with both families during this tragic time. May God comfort you with the wonderful memories shared. Love to all! Robin Edens  

We  are broken hearted and continue  to remember this family and friends in this sad loss of Tracey.  I look at the sweet angel holding a  flower you all gave to me for a birthday party  gift and think of the fun and love for you and your Family . Remembering you always in love and prayers. 💕💗
