Mrs Martha Sue Anthony Hendricks

Mrs. Hendricks was born in Pickens, SC on August 7, 1940 to the late Roy Robert and Mary Evelyn Rampey Anthony. She retired from Milliken as an administrative assistant, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Hendricks was a devoted member of Griffin Baptist Church where she loved her Church family and enjoyed working in the Nursery.

In addition to her loving husband of 62 years, Mrs. Hendricks is survived by her two children: Cindy Blackwood (John) and Phil Hendricks (Carol), both of Pickens; six grandchildren: Eric Blackwood (Leah) of Columbia, SC, Kristen Frawley (Colin) of Greer, SC, Amanda Bailey (Jonathan) of Simpsonville, SC, Kevin Hendricks currently serving in the US. Army at Fort Stewart, GA, Kennedy Hendricks of Pickens, and Morgan Blackburn of Pickens; three great-grandchildren; and her three siblings: Robert Anthony (Cyndi) of Pickens, Ricky Anthony (Peggy) of Pickens, and David Anthony (Nancy) of Greenville.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by two siblings: Mary Childs and Rodger Anthony.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Griffin Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the Church on Wednesday, prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
