Gloria Joan Powell, 67 of 103 Ny Way Dr., passed from this life Sunday February 1,2015. Born in Greenville County, the daughter of the late McDonald (Mack) and Carolyn McCall. Joan retired from Mayfair Mills in Pickens, and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are her son, Jason Powell and wife Michelle of Pickens. One brother Gary McCall of Pickens. Four grandchildren, Ashley Powell, Shane Powell, Kaley Powell and Cody Powell. Two great-grandchildren Caleb Curlett and Madison Millard. And special friends Ray Powell and Jane Hamby. In addition to her parents, Ms. Powell was pre-deceased by a son Michael Powell and a brother Donald McCall. Graveside services for the immediate family will be held Wednesday February 4th at 1:00pm at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Travelers Rest. The family is at their respective homes.
