Geraldine was born in Pickens, South Carolina to the late James Clyde and Lavenia Cater.
Geraldine was a faithful lifetime member of East Pickens Baptist Church.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter Karen Patterson Wilkinson; grandchildren Ric T. Wilkinson (Tiffany) and Allison Wilkinson Poff (John); great grandchildren Sawyer Wilkinson and Reagan Poff; sisters Nell Galloway and Lura Hudson.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Earl Patterson; her sisters Melonee Wood and Ruth Stokes; her brothers A.C. Cater and Garvin Cater.
A memorial service will be held at East Pickens Baptist Church, 2244 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671 on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11:00 am with visitation to follow.
