Pickens, SC – Mrs. Geneva Irene Gilstrap, 79, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Geneva was born in Pickens, South Carolina on December 15, 1943 to the late Earl and Margaret Finely Patterson.
She is survived by three children: Donald Jackson Gilstrap, Sheila Renee Gilstrap and adopted daughter Lashay Elrod; one brother: Johnny Barton Patterson; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Douglas Gilstrap; two children: Albert Douglas Gilstrap Jr. and Sandra Renee Gilstrap; and three siblings: William Walter Patterson, Carl Edward Patterson, and Earl Jackson Patterson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Fairview Baptist Church. 1106 Robinson Bridge Road Liberty SC.
