Mr. Christopher Lee Johnson

Christopher L. Johnson Easley, SC Christopher Lee Johnson, 17, of Easley, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 27, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Christopher was born in Greenville on September 21, 1997 to Christopher Harvey Johnson and Kelly Lee Stringfellow Johnson. Christopher was an eleventh grader at Easley high School where he was a member of the Easley High School Marching Band. He was a very special young man who always thought of others before himself. He always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart. Even through his sickness, he always had a positive outlook on life and wanted everyone around him to be happy. His love for his family, especially his little sister Kimberly, his music and the Mustang car will always be forever cherished. Surviving in addition to his parents is his sister, Kimberly Johnson; his grandparents, Kathy Taylor of Easley, Linda Johnson of Pickens, Steve Johnson of Marietta and Cliff and Linda Stringfellow of Belton; a great grandmother, Barbara Stringfellow of Anderson; and his loving extended family. A service to celebrate Christopher’s life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Marathon Church in Powdersville with the Reverend Jamie Hammett officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the church.
