Mr. Bobby Joe Smith

Bobby was born in Anderson County on January 7, 1934 to the late William Roy and Eula McCall Smith. He served his country in the Navy. Bobby was a loving and devoted family man who cherished his family above all else, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife of 55 years: Alice Madden Smith; one son: Tim Smith (Terry); two daughters: Cissy Callaham (Sam), and Shonda Vinson (David); 8 grandchildren: Alison Burgess (Robbie), Adam Callaham (Melissa), Trent Smith, Ashton Vinson (Turner), Trevor Smith, Tanner Smith, Austin Vinson, and Haylee Hammond; 4 great-grandchildren: Callie Burgess, Haddie Burgess, Mabel Callaham, and Easton Mack; and one sister: Mae Westbrook.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM prior to the service.
