Althea Louise Bolding

Mrs. Bolding was born in Oconee County on July 12, 1933, to the late Ernest and Clara Holcombe Hamilton. She retired as a hairdresser and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with her family. Mrs. Bolding was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Easley.

Mrs. Bolding is survived by her two sons: Phil Bolding (Chris) and Mike Bolding; her five grandchildren: Taylor Bolding Moon (Evan), Sydney Bolding, Bethany Bard Curtis (Timothy), Colin Bard, and Aubrie Bolding; her two great-grandchildren: Camden Curtis and Dylan Curtis; a brother: Harold Hamilton; and a sister: Joyce Lanning.

In addition to her late husband and parents, Mrs. Bolding was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Janella Bolding; and a grandson: Graham Bolding; and two sisters: Dorothy Hiott and Yevonne Hamilton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 22, 2023, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 10:15 AM until 10:45 AM on Friday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
