On January 13, 2022 Bill Hart entered into Heaven with our Heavenly Father. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Pam, of 45 years, and their daughter Valerie Hickson (Chris) and their children Samuel and Emily, along with his other children Candi Haase, Shelli Scurka (John), Jeff Hart (Madeline), and their families. He had 6 other grandchildren: Brian, Brittney, Michael, Jessica, Desiree, and Matt. He also had 7 great-grandchildren.
Born in Bastrop, Louisiana on November 23, 1934. He and his parents moved around the country, finally settling in the Los Angeles area. Bill lived in Oregon for a time and finally settled in the Phoenix area in the 70’s. Bill and Pam with their daughter Valerie also lived in Prescott for several years. He had many professions: electrician, Police Officer, small business owner, water pump salesman (where he met Pam), and Building Inspector before landing his dream job of a Plan Reviewer for the City of Scottsdale. Bill was a generous husband, father, friend and man who loved with his whole heart. He was known for his sense of humor and was a jack-of-all trades, fixing and repairing anything! He always volunteered to help anyone, anywhere, even a stranger! His hobbies included Ham Radio, working on cars, sailing, and gardening.
Bill loved his family so much and will be missed by all.
We would like to express sincere thanks to the caregivers and staff at Lincoln Heights for their kindness and dedication to Bill.
Services for Bill’s family will be held at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church on February 4th. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley at https://www.hov.org/
