Stephen Evans Brawner

Steve graduated from University of Kansas School of Business with a BA and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He received his Law Degree at Michigan.

Stephen loved singing and was an active member and Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He sang in multiple choirs in Kansas City, Southern California and Scottsdale, AZ. He started the Pinnacle Presbyterian Men’s Quartet at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale and so enjoyed singing with his four friends.

Stephen was a sports enthusiast his whole life. He loved sports and was competitive basketball, softball, track, tennis, and golf. He loved his family and friends dearly and stayed in touch with friends from grade school on. He is survived by beloved long time, companion Katie Bradburn; a son, Mark Brawner and two daughters, Christy Brawner, and her daughter, Elena Sternlicht; Jill and Andy Young and three grandsons, Jack, Conner, and Casey. He has a sister in Newton, KS as well with multiple nieces and nephews, and a sister, Susan Wyman in Newton, KS

Steve’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29 at 10 am. With a reception following the service
