Ruby "Ruth" Brandon, 89, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on February 20, 2011. Ruth was born September 20, 1921 in Indiana. She has now joined her husband, William P. Brandon and their son Billy. She is survived by daughters Aileen (Bob) Garvey, Karen (Norm) Rooney, and Denise Brandon and son Mark (Pam) Brandon. She will also be missed by her 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Ruth was a proud member of the "Greatest Generation" and worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" at Goodyear during the war. She and Bill, along with their 5 children, returned to Arizona in 1957. Services will be held from 10:30-11:30A.M. Friday, February 25, at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, Arizona Following the services there will be a brief ceremony at 12:30 P.M. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek, Road, Phoenix.
