In the early hours of October 24th, a beautiful light flickered out. Arizona native, Raelene Smith, born Raelene Reynolds, passed away at the age of 66, in her home, surrounded by family.
Raelene retired from the Phoenix Police Department in 2017, she held various positions over a 44 years career. During those years, she raised 4 children and was heavily involved in her community. In her spare time, she volunteered with Clarendon Little League, participated in Central High's Cat Booster club, and was an active member of the Irish community.
She is survived by her loving husband Arthur Smith of 40 years; four children, Michael Smith, Robyn Smith, Thomas Smith, Mary Smith; Grandson Lukas Smith; and many grandpuppies.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5th 2018 as follows:
