Paul Edward McLaughlin

Paul Edward McLaughlin passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on September 27, 2023. Paul was a military veteran, part of the 101st Airborne division of the United States Army (Screamin’ Eagles.) He is survived by his wife, Joy and his three children Kaytlin, Kayla and Paul. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Carter and Easton, his mother, Yolanda and his two sisters, Theresa and Barbara. Paul was a loving man with an enormous heart. Whether he was helping a friend in need or helping a total stranger, you wouldn’t know the difference. Being a “jack of all trades” if you will, he was always the first to jump when someone was in need.

Paul had a sense of humor that could brighten up any room. He was always full of laughs and you could always count on him to brighten your day. From fishing trips with his son, and bringing home yet another rattlesnake that was “in danger” to wrestling with “bounce back betty” to writing his Harry Potter spin off stories with his daughter and constantly convincing his wife that one of the kids was hurt… again, he was always part of the fun and the action. He was quite the practical jokester, and was always the center of attention with his very extravagant halloween costumes.
