Ollie Mae Baker of Phoenix, Arizona went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2016 at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her husband L. Kenneth Baker (Kenny). Ollie was born in Litchfield, Arizona on October 22, 1926. Ollie met her husband Kenny when he was delivering the paper for the Arizona Republic and the Phoenix Gazette. They went on to marry the following year in 1942 and enjoyed 73 years of marriage together. They are together now in Heaven. Ollie was a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ollie worked at Reynolds Aluminum Plant during the 1940s operating an overhead crane with bucket pouring aluminum to make airplane parts. She worked at the family business Hall Brake Supply from 1966 to 2001. She also taught Sunday School at Palmcroft Church for many years. Ollie always cared about her family so much. She had a kind heart. On the Holiday’s, she made huge homemade meals for the family. Her desserts were one of a kind from her pumpkin and pecan pies to her German chocolate cake. Survivors include three children, Sharon Baker, Kenny Baker Jr., and Sharleen Goodell (David); grandchildren David Baker (Tammy), Daniel Baker, Jeremy Totel (Rebecca), Jon Totel, Chris Totel, Payton Baker and Sterling Baker; great grandchildren Joshua and Emily Baker, Charlie and Augie Totel and Catherine and Cosette Totel.
